We are one of the best Persian furniture and carpet stores in the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley of Greater Vancouver, and we are looking to hire:
Position:
1 Furniture Store Manager
National Occupation Classification (NOC): 60020
Job duties:
• Plan, direct and evaluate the sales operations of all inventories
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operation on sales
• Determine the fabric and wool materials of furniture and carpets and implement price and credit policies
• Source and negotiate with suppliers when necessary to procure unique Persian furniture and increase inventory
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to after sales customer requests and issues
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
• Develop the online shopping experience for customers all over BC and deal with all orders made online and organize all shipping operations within the Province of British Columbia.
Terms of Employment: Full time – Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience
Language of Work: English
Wage: $35.60 per hour
