Are you passionate about baking and ready to join a dynamic team? Bake Code is looking for a dedicated Baker to join our team at our North York location.

Work Location: 451 McNicoll Ave, North York, ON, M2H 2C9

Hours: Full-time, 35 to 40 hours per week

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Overtime hours: 44 hours per week

Vacation: 4% vacation pay

Benefits: Store discount and company insurance (dental and extended health)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure punctual arrival at work and maintain productive work throughout your shift.
• Prepare and bake all required goods and continue baking as needed throughout the day.
• Efficiently pack food items and organize daily deliveries.

Monitor production levels and minimize waste.

• Perform basic kitchen cleaning duties.

Properly close the bakery at the end of your shift, ensuring it is clean and ready for the next day’s operation.

Requirements

• one year of Baking experience preferred
• Be able to handle light lifting (10-20lbs).
• Exhibit an outgoing, hardworking attitude, ability to multitask and a positive, eager-to-learn mindset.
• Contribute to meeting daily targets and goals while fostering teamwork to achieve exceptional results.
• All staff are required to wear masks during their shift.
