Job Overview
Role and responsibilities
- assist in the preparation of meals as directed by the head Chef
- prepare and portion all items, promptly, efficiently and with attention to detail
- setting up the proper plating for food menu items
- maintaining a clean working environment: sweeping, mopping, taking care of garbage
- maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, dishes, utensils, and surfaces
- maintain kitchen areas to ensure the utmost organization and visual appeal
- comply to health, food safety and hygiene regulations to, standards and policies
- monitor food for freshness and safety and store ingredients properly
- assist in the storage of equipment, kitchen utensils and other supplies
- assist in the storage of equipment, kitchen utensils and other supplies
- assist with serving meals and bussing tables when needed
- working as a team member with other employees to assure efficient and safe operation of the kitchen and the dining room
- support in other duties as required by the head Chef
- packaging finished products in bags and boxes for distribution
Skill Qualifications and Requirements:
- has cooking experience
- ability to work under pressure in a fast – paced environment
- can work cohesively as part of the team
- Able to work Full time
Work Schedule
- Shift schedule: Monday to Sunday (6am – 3pm)
