Provide your kid with a great environment to develop in, and an awesome community of new friends and caring staff. Help them get ready for the school ahead of them such skills as reading, writing, math and many others are being developed for preschoolers.
Worry-free commitment! Drop off your child at our location before work, for school bus to pick him or her up. You can do that anytime after 7:30 AM. Pick them up anytime before 6:00 PM.

Always looking for talented and skilled professionals, we are currently looking for 2 Early Childhood Educators to assist the day care with its daily operations.
As we maneuver our way towards hybrid learning, Eco Kids Childcare is committed to providing our students with quality remote and in-class instructions. The Early Childhood Educator will assist us in effectively driving this initiative forward.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children;
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity;
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children;
• Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members;
• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor;
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits;
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children;
• May plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours;
• May supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
Qualifications
• Completion of a recognized Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program;
• At least 1 year of experience in childcare and inclusive resource practice is required;
• Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators;
• Excellent oral and written English communication;
• First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification is an asset;
• Medical Examination;
Compensation (Salary)
• $20.00 per hour; 35 hours per week; Overtime rate will apply after 44 hours of work per week
• Permanent, full-time employment
LOCATION OF WORK
• 1315 Kipling Ave, Etobicoke, ON, M9B 3N7
• All related travel conducted as part of your employment will be reimbursed accordingly
