Team Members (Counter Service Personnel/Food Prep individuals)

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Taking orders accurately and efficiently, often using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Preparing food items according to Tim Hortons’ standards and recipes, such as sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods.
• Assembling sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items with precision and attention to detail.
• Operating kitchen equipment like grills, ovens, fryers, and coffee machines
• Brewing coffee and preparing various hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, & teas.
• Adding ingredients like milk, cream, and flavorings as requested by customers
• Keeping the restaurant and dining area clean and tidy.
• Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils.
• Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Handling cash transactions accurately and providing correct change to customers
• Adhering to Tim Hortons’ policies and procedures, including food safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Secondary school education is required.
• Requires basic communication skills in English, ability to take customer orders and take directions from the Shift supervisor/Manager.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
