Job Description:

Bastel Contracting Corp is looking for a candidate for the position of Waterproofing Foreman/Woman.

We specialize in Building envelope, and we are looking for a self-motivated professional with relevant experience.

Job Duties:

• Prepare production and other reports
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Train or arrange for training
• Set up machines and equipment
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Leading/instructing individuals
• Other duties related to Building Envelope at height or high angle
• Waterproofing installation

Supervision

• 3-4 people
• 5-10 people
• Staff in various areas of responsibility

Qualifications / Skills

–           Hold current SPRAT level 2 certification.

–           Hold fall protection certificate.

–           Swing stage, boom lift experience are assets.

–           First AID level 1 certification.

–           2+ years of experience with building envelope.

–           Have a strong work ethic.

–           Show initiative and be a team player.

–           Be punctual and reliable.
