ETG Commodities Inc. is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist – Exports to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

The Technical Sales Specialist – Exports will focus on sales and development and will be reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and within a team environment, demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Identify potential markets to generate business; expand network of customers and develop current customers;
• Ensure retention and grow sales relationships with existing customers;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers and customers;
• Administer, promote, and adhere to purchase, sale and production contracts, ensuring compliance with all related policies and process;
• Prepare and administer contracts from the point of shipping to receiving proper payments with contract terms;
• Establish and implement short and long-term sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives;
• Develop an awareness with grain trends and market conditions to ensure competitiveness;
• Management of trade operations in the assigned regions and other neighbouring countries;
• Promote positive relations with key customer and brokers at all levels.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistic team.

Employment Qualification and Requirements:

• A college diploma in international business, business administration, commerce or in a related field;
• At least 2 years of experience working in the capacity of a sales specialist or in a related role within the agricultural or similar industry;
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook;
• Excellent English language skills, other languages will be considered as assets
• Must be a team player and able to work efficiently in a dynamic fast-paced, work environment;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining high quality customer-service orientation;
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including ability to balance multiple priorities;

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual salary of $72,000.00 for at least 35 hours of work per week, overtime rate applies after 44 hours of work per week;
• Permanent, full-time position
