Salary offered: | $47.00 per hour–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions. |
Vacation: | 4% of the gross salary |
Hours of Work: | 30-40 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week. |
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
Siebel CRM
- Develop, customize, and enhance Siebel CRM applications using Siebel Tools, scripting, and configuration techniques to meet business requirements.
- Develop and configure integration of Siebel with other applications using web services or other mechanisms.
- Developing prototype integration framework to ensure successful implementation using Open UI scripting, EAI, EIM, ETL web services, and REST service.
- Plan and develop data migration and/or integration (ETL or web services) from other ministry solutions to the Siebel solution.
- Write, modify, and integrate CRM applications with downstream and upstream applications.
- Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of issues of Siebel implementation and its integration with subsidiary systems such as Oracle Service Cloud etc. in Development and Production environments.
- Oversee Installation and Server Maintenance of Siebel CRM Applications.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and implement Siebel application architecture and strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience to evaluate fit/gap analysis between high-level requirements and Oracle Siebel Public Sector capabilities.
- Ensure designs are re-sizable / scalable for multiple screen platforms.
- Recommend development and support technologies that provide more efficient code management.
- Document processes and technical designs and update build books. Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
- Implementing security policies to protect unauthorized access to databases and other critical applications.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing, IT infrastructure, computer systems development, and IT operations.
Salesforce:
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
- Develop and execute data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Create and manage data import and export processes using tools like Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions that are scalable and maintainable.
- Develop technical design documents, including architecture diagrams, data models, and solution designs.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to provide insights into Salesforce application performance and usage.
- Provide accurate estimates for proposed features/enhancements and review estimates from other team members for completeness and accuracy.
- Implementing security policies to protect unauthorized access to databases and other critical applications.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing, IT infrastructure, computer systems development, and IT operations.
- Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and provide recommended solutions.
Employment Requirements
Experience:
- 3+ years experience configuring, designing, and developing software application solutions using Siebel CRM.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, designing, developing, and maintaining application using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Siebel modules such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Lead, Management, Partner, Public Sector Partner Portal, Campaign Management, Marketing, Resource Manager, and Public Sector eService would be an asset.
- Experience with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens, Code/Scripts and related Siebel Business Layer objects.
- Proficiency with Siebel Workflow Process, Siebel eScript, Integration Objects, Siebel Configuration, Business Component, Business Object, Applets, and Views.
- Knowledge of Siebel data model, Experience working with Oracle DB, Siebel Order Management
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs proven knowledge of Salesforce integration techniques, including REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Education
- A college level diploma or bachelor’s in technology degree.
