Salary: $36.50 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 30-35 Hours a week. Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Job Description:

  • As the Advertising and Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing advertising campaigns across multiple media channels, ensuring they align with brand strategy and reach target audiences effectively. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage content, media buying, and campaign performance.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute strategic advertising campaigns across TV, digital, radio, and audio platforms.
  • Research, select, and purchase media space to reach target audiences effectively, with a focus on digital and audio channels.
  • Collaborate on content creation for advertisements, scripts, and media materials to ensure brand consistency.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, emphasizing digital metrics, audience reach, and engagement.
  • Manage advertising budgets, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and within allocated limits.
  • Coordinate with media vendors, and platforms to ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Oversee social media presence, create engaging posts, and manage cross-channel campaigns, including audio promotions.
  • Support overall brand strategy by maintaining a consistent voice across all media and advertising platforms.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
  • Organize promotional events and collaborate on platform-sponsored activities to boost customer engagement.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align advertising efforts with sales and business goals.

Employment Requirements

  • Prior 1-2 years’ experience in advertising, media coordination or similar role is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Moderate written and verbal communication skills in English language.
  • A college diploma or degree in marketing, communications, information technology or related field is required.
