Job Overview

Alugard is a leading manufacturer and installer of custom-building envelope products, specializing in aluminum windows, doors, and railing systems. Our aluminum window and door products are thermally enhanced to meet and exceed industry standards for energy savings and comfort. We also produce fully welded aluminum railing systems known for their superior durability and long-life span.

We supply and install a wide range of aluminum doors including sliding doors, patio doors, commercial storefront doors, and swing doors, designed for both residential and commercial applications.

We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking 10 full-time Aluminum Door and Window Installers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will work closely with our experienced installation crews to deliver high-quality service on projects across the Greater Toronto Area. These are permanent positions offering long-term stability, hands-on training, and the opportunity to grow with an industry-respected company.

Job Duties:

  • Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine layout and installation procedures
  • Measure and mark window and door openings on work surfaces
  • Prepare aluminum window and door units for installation, including all necessary hardware
  • Install, repair, and service a variety of aluminum windows and doors using hand and power tools
  • Install aluminum sliding doors, patio doors, commercial storefront doors, and other door types as required
  • Remove and dispose of existing windows and doors when necessary
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all installations meet client and company standards
  • Move furniture or appliances if needed and return them to original positions after installation
  • Clean and restore worksite and confirm completion with the client

Training and Qualifications:

  • On-the-job training will be provided to ensure all new hires are fully familiar with our installation processes, safety protocols, and product specifications
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy windows, doors, and related materials
  • Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces and on ladders or scaffolding when required
  • Basic English language skills are required to understand instructions and communicate with the team
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices and safe use of tools is an asset
  • Completion of secondary school education is required

Compensation and Working Conditions

  • Wage: $34.10 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • Overtime: Payable after 44 hours of work per week, in accordance with applicable employment standards
  • Work Location: Various client sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
