About Us:

We are currently seeking 2 Apprentice Carpenters to join our team and hone their skills in a hands-on, dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials;
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications;
  • Install and repair structures such as frameworks, floors, and walls;
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively;
  • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet project specifications;
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area;
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on job sites;
  • Support senior carpenters and project managers in completing tasks on time and to specification;
  • Perform other carpentry-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary school;
  • Must have at least 3 months of in general construction as a carpenter, construction labourer or helper, or similar role in the construction industry
  • Familiarity with basic carpentry techniques and tools (saws, drills, hammers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong asset if you have experience in European or Middle Eastern carpentry techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Good English communication skills.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage starting at $32.50, depending on experience, for at least 30 hours per week;
