We are currently looking for a BIM Operator

Job Duties:

• In collaboration with senior BIM consultants, design consultants, owners, and internal team members produce project progress reports, complete model audits, finalize data for transfer, and assist in BIM standards development;
• Operate the key software, including Revit MEP, Navisworks, OneDrive or any other;
• Create virtual models from plans and specifications;
• Check mechanical system design and value engineer;
• Examine mechanical design, calculation, and equipment selection;
• Oversee BIM related project coordination, including model coordination with trade contractors;
• Perform clash detection analysis to identify potential conflicts and clashes between different building systems and components within the BIM models; assisted in developing models as needed;
• Perform quantity take-offs taken from BIM models;
• Maintain BIM related document management systems on projects; write technical reports as required.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary diploma – professional training in engineering design/drafting an asset;
• At least 1.5 years of experience in working with BIM (building information modelling) – building systems and components within the BIM models or in a related capacity;
• At least 1.5 years of proven experience operating and working with Revit MEP;
• Able to work with different teams and different projects at a time;
• Good English language skills.

Compensation:

• Permanent, full-time position with lots of room to grow!
• Hourly rate of $32.00 per hour at least 40 hours per week;
• Overtime rate of $48.00 will apply after 44 hours of work per week;
• Location of work: Suite 200 – 99 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto, ON M5R 3K3.
