The following opportunity is available: Corporate Controller
The ideal candidates will have years of experience in a senior financial leadership role with excellent understanding of finance, strategy, and corporate development.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies and determine company’s mission and objectives, driving sustainable growth and profitability;
- Authorize and oversee the creation of key departments and appoint senior staff positions to create optimum working conditions;
- Allocate resources, including materials, manpower, and finances, to implement organizational policies and programs;
- Establish and implement robust financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems to maintain transparency and accuracy in our financial operations;
- Overall management of financial resources to ensure efficient implementation of policies and planning related to financial and administrative controls;
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
- Oversee general accounting activities, including accounts receivable, collections, and payroll processes, to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements;
- Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions concerning the company’s operations and services;
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, keeping abreast of changes in accounting principles and practices.
Requirements:
- College or university diploma in Business Administration, Commerce Finance, or Project Management, or related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role with excellent understanding of finance, strategy, and corporate development;
- Strong strategic planning and organizational development skills;
- Exceptional financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis;
- Superior English language skills;

- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions under pressure.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a finance team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and work with senior executives.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
Compensation:
- This is a full-time, permanent position with at least 30 hours of work per week;
- The remuneration will be set at CAD $140,000.00 per annum; overtime rate applies after 44 hours of work per week;
