DevOps Team Lead
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
As a DevOps Team Lead, you’ll collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to build cutting-edge solutions, optimize system architecture, and drive innovation across our projects.
- Engage with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their needs.
- Interpret stakeholders’ requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies relevant to DevOps, such as GitOps, Infrastructure as a Code(IAC), infrastructure management, FinOps, etc.
- Design and develop prototypes to test new concepts and technologies.
- Produce detailed technical documentation for the systems, including cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop detailed data, process, and network models to optimize system architecture.
- Implement strategies to optimize system performance and reliability based on monitoring metrics and specific system properties.
- Develop detailed project plans outlining the scope, timeline, and resources required for system development and integration.
- Design comprehensive systems that meet business and technical requirements, including mobile applications.
- Oversee the operational aspects of systems, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Conduct thorough assessments of operating systems, communications environments, and application software.
- Develop and document maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing system reliability.
- Plan and implement system upgrades to keep technology current and efficient.
- Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals, providing direction and guidance.
- Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or in a related field.
- A master’s degree in a related discipline is a great asset!
- At least 3+ years of DevOps experience with a focus on system architecture, infrastructure, and automation;
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in emerging DevOps technologies like GitOps, IAC, and FinOps.
- Expertise in network architecture and security protocols, with the ability to design secure, scalable systems.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading and coordinating teams of information systems professionals.
- Proven experience managing complex DevOps projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Annual salary of $150,000.00 for at least 40 hours of work per week, overtime rate applies after 44 hours of work per week;
