Position Available: Housekeeper
Primary Duties:
• Dust and polish furniture
• Vacuum and sweep floors
• Mop and clean hard surfaces
• Empty and reline trash bins
Bedroom Tasks:
• Change bed linens and make beds
• Organize and tidy bedrooms
Bathroom Care:
• Sanitize sinks, countertops, and vanities
• Scrub toilets, bathtubs, and showers
• Replace toiletries and towels as needed
Kitchen Duties:
• Sanitize surfaces, including countertops and appliances
• Wash dishes and kitchenware
• Organize the pantry and refrigerator
• Undertake special tasks like oven cleaning or defrosting freezers
Laundry Responsibilities:
• Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and linens
• Handle dry cleaning and delicate items appropriately
• Maintain organized closets and drawers
Home Organization:
• Keep living spaces well-organized
• Arrange personal items and decor
• Manage clutter and maintain a tidy environment
Outdoor and Special Areas:
• Sweep patios and entrances
• Care for indoor plants
• Attend to tasks in specialized areas such as home offices, or guest rooms
Security and Confidentiality:
• Ensure a high level of discretion and confidentiality
• Secure the residence, especially during the homeowner’s absence
Communication:
• Work closely with the homeowner to understand preferences and instructions
• Report any issues or needed repairs promptly
Grocery Shopping and Errands:
• Shop for household groceries and cleaning supplies.
• Run errands such as picking up dry cleaning, prescriptions, or mail.
• Restock home essentials, such as toiletries and pantry items.
Seasonal Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Clean windows, blinds, and curtains.
• Organize and deep clean storage areas, such as garages, basements, or attics.
• Assist with seasonal tasks like putting up decorations or packing/unpacking seasonal items.
Scheduling and Household Management:
• Maintain household calendars, appointments, and reminders.
• Supervise and coordinate home maintenance visits (e.g., pest control, carpet cleaning).
• Organize inventories of cleaning supplies and household goods.
Personal Assistance:
• Assist with wardrobe management, such as steaming clothes or organizing outfits.
• Prepare suitcases for travel by packing and unpacking items.
• Provide light administrative help, like sorting mail or organizing documents.
Qualifications:
– No formal education required
– Previous experience is a plus, but not necessary—training will be provided
– Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for long periods
– Strong communication skills to ensure clear understanding of tasks and expectations
What We Offer:
• Annual compensation of $53,150.00 – Overtime rate applies after 44 hours;
• Work Hours: At least 30 hours per week
• Location of Work: Toronto, Ontario (exact address will be provided)
