Looking For:
We are currently hiring a Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on kitchen experience, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas following Antonio’s signature recipes and techniques.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely order completion.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain food quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- At least 6 months of experience as a pizza cook or in a comparable kitchen position
- Basic English language skills to follow instructions and communicate with team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Genuine passion for food and a sharp eye for detail and quality
Compensation:
- Wage: Starting salary at $20.00 per hour
- Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week; overtime applicable after 44 hours, as per Ontario labour standards
- Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
