Salary: | $57,600.00 per annum–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions. |
Other benefits: | Group insurance benefits including medical, dental and eye care coverage on a cost sharing basis would be offered upon completion of three months of employment period with the organization |
Vacation: | 4% of the gross salary |
Hours of Work: | 32.5 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week |
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Identify current and prospective recruiting requirements and prepare/post advertisements for the positions.
- Collect applications, shortlist candidates and conduct all phases of the interview process.
- Check references, background and utilize database of candidates to call and qualify applicants for employment and fill open job positions.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of the employment.
- Prepare offer of employments and other employment related contracts.
- Perform various administrative tasks that support the recruitment function.
- Perform support work with regards to employee relations initiatives and payroll processing.
- Maintains current data base of offer letters, independent contractor agreements, and third-party agency agreement templates.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the human resource sector/personnel administration is required.
- College level diploma in a field related to personnel management such as business administration, human resources management, commerce or equivalent work experience is required.
- Possess an understanding and working knowledge of MS Office suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
