We are currently seeking a dedicated Resident Care Aide-Medical to provide essential support in daily activities and patient care.

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting:Nursing home/home for the aged/Group home
Credentials:CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable; Criminal record check
Immunization records
Tuberculosis test
Key Responsibilities:
Support Residents’ Comfort & Well-being: Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding residents.
Monitor Health: Take vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Ensure proper care through regular checks.
Assist with Mobility: Help lift, turn, position, and transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers between care facilities and rooms.
Provide Emotional Support: Accompany residents on outdoor recreational activities and supervise their exercise routines to enhance their physical and mental well-being.
Ensure a Safe Environment: Administer first aid in emergencies, prepare residents for surgery, and maintain patients’ rooms for cleanliness and comfort.
Other Duties: Serve meals, answer call signals, and perform various tasks as needed to ensure the comfort and care of our residents.
Qualifications:
Health Care Aide Certificate or Personal Support Worker (PSW) background.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colors.
Personal Qualities: Client-focused, dependable, flexible, patient, and a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
