Salary: $75,000.00 per annum; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 32.5 Hours a week. Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Job Description:

  • As the Store Manager at Teletime Superstore, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. You will lead a team of sales associates and support staff to achieve store targets and uphold the company’s standards of excellence in customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of sales associates and support staff. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service at all times. Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics. Develop strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Maintain optimal inventory levels and oversee stock management.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets. Control expenses and optimize profitability. Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to execute sales promotions and marketing campaigns. Drive store traffic and customer engagement through effective marketing initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and product availability.
  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the store. Ensure a safe and inviting shopping environment for customers and staff.

Employment Requirements

  • Prior 1-2 years’ experience in a retail environment in the administrative or a supervisory role is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of sales and inventory systems, with a willingness to learn and grow in financial and operational management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
