4 Seasons Pawns shop is hiring a Supervisor Sales Representative

Job duties:

• Provide top level customer service to ensure every customer has a positive experience in our store – greet every customer that enters the store, engage in conversation, and wish every customer well when they exit.
• Arrive at work motivated and eager to sell and always maintain a happy positive attitude
• Sell directly with customers in store; be able to wheel and deal to ensure we maximize profit while simultaneously maximize customer satisfaction.
• Photograph items and post them for sale online on a variety of platforms
• Respond to messages from customers online with the goal of completing sales
• Answer questions and sell to customers over the phone
• Negotiate and bater with customers
• Cash handling and credit processing
• Sell to customers using our layaway program
• Maintain a database of customers and contact customers directly to sell
• Clean and restore second-hand items
• Research pricing and appropriately price our items for sale
• Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Demonstrate to customers how to operate a variety of items
• Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Authorize payments and the return of merchandise
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance
• Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised

Skills:

• Knowledge in, and ability to sell, a wide variety of second-hand products
• Strong negotiation skills
• Top level customer service skills (both in person and on the phone and online)
• Photography skills
• Tech / Computer skills (can operate windows, apple, and android)
• Ability to type 40 wpm
• Ability to lift and move 45 lbs objects
• Strong math skills

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working at a pawn shop is preferred
• Completed a minimum of one year of college or university
• Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
• Must be Bondable
• School Transcripts required
• Criminal Record check required
• Drug Test required
• References required

• CAD $21.00 Hour

Scheduled Shifts:

• Six-day work week
• 5 hours per day
• Must work on weekends and statutory and religious holidays
• This is full-time 39 hours per week
• Permanent position.
