Job Description

We are seeking to hire an Accountant to manage the corporation’s accounting and financial records

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in financial accounting or any other related diploma or certificate program
• Provincial licensing would be an asset
• Minimum three (3) years of work experience as an accountant
• Strong English communication (written and oral)

Role of the Position

• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems and prepare financial information for Wingell Hospitality accounts
• Examine accounting records and prepare financial statements and reports
• Develop and maintain cost-finding, reporting, and internal control procedures
• Work with the Human Resource Manager to finalize payroll
• Examine financial accounts and records and prepare the corporation’s income take returns from accounting records
• Make out the monthly financial reports for the restaurants, retail, and online sales streams.
• Work closely with the Company Chartered Accountant to check and submit the quarterly HST returns to CRA
