JOB OPENING

Working with the board of directors, the Sales General Manager will be developing and implementing sales and trade procurement policies and programs aimed at organizing senior and middle managers across Ontario and improving how we deliver our services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have good experience working in the fields of engineering, automation services, and business consulting.

POSITION DETAILS

The individual in this position will be expected to implement sales and trade policies that would benefit MMR Consulting’s project management and business consulting service delivery.

Your job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Working with the Board of Director and other shareholders, assess current buying and sales procedures and establish gaps and rooms for improvement;
  • Establish short-term and long-term objectives, including spearheading annual sales plans and budgets for procurement of raw materials for clients’ further processing;
  • Determine which engineering industries have problematic KPIs and establish and formulate sales policies to address these;
  • Allocate financial and human resources towards policies that support effective sales practices and maximum efficiencies among its employees;
  • Oversee establishment of regional sales and procurement departments that will handle and enhance relationships with sellers and manufacturers, and to some extent, analyse supplies and pricing trends;
  • Coordinate work of all relevant sales and procurements departments and integrate gross turnover and expansion expenses, including moving slow and dead stock, that can be used in further improving overall solutions;
  • Overall management and maintenance of standard delivery procedures and market expansion of sales channels, both geographically and industry-wise;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline;
  • 5 years of experience as Sales Manager in the Engineering and Raw Material industries;
  • Excellent understanding of sales and procurement procedures in the engineering industries, preferably in chemical and mechanical;
  • Excellent English language skills, other languages will be considered as assets;
  • Ability to travel across Ontario;

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Full-time and permanent employment;
  • Annual salary of $120,000 plus all work-related expenses would be shouldered by the company;
