Employment Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced engineering/engineering technologist professional with years of experience in working with designing & executing designs for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning.

You will be working directly under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer and will have lots of room to grow!

Job Duties

• Under the direct supervision of Lead Engineer, may plan and implement projects
• Help define project scope, goals and deliverables (as defined but not limited to the Gantt chart below – Figure 1.0)
• Define tasks and required resources (as defined but not limited to the Gantt chart below – Figure 1.0)
• Collect and manage project team
• Manage the project budget to protect the Project’s profit margin
• Allocate project resources where appropriate
• Create schedule and project timeline utilizing tools such as the Gantt chart shown in Figure 1.0 below)
• Track deliverables
• May support and direct resources within the Company team
• Corroborate with quality assurance Director and Licensed Engineers
• Monitor and report on project progress with the Executive Director
• Present to stakeholders (internal and external) reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
• Evaluate and assess result of project
• Assist with pricing of projects, by preparing quantity / BOM sheets, and preparing proposals.
• Coordinate procurement of materials
• Coordinate sub-contractors and trades, including construction management
• Perform layouts, design drawings for architectural and HVAC
• Any other tasks, actions, duties to support the Company’s interests where appropriate and necessary

Requirements

• College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology and Design, or a related practice
• At least 3 years of experience working with designing & executing designs for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning
• Good knowledge of validation and quality assurance in the engineering industry
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines
• Complete cGMP documentation for Projects/Engineering Department will be an asset
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good overall English language skills

Compensation

• Full-time, permanent position with lots of room to grow!
• Starting annual salary of $70,000.00
• 30 hours of work per week
• Hybrid working arrangement as agreed with management and team lead
