Concrete finishers needed for ALBERTA PRECAST PRODUCTS
12 Vacancies Location: 25 Commerce Road S, Spruce Grove, AB T7X 0G6
Duties and Responsibilities: As per NOC 7282 – Concrete finishers; Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, Operate power vibrators to compact concrete, Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures, Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Salary: $30.00 / hour for 30-45 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements / Skills: Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail
Work Setting: Commercial, Residential
