Construction Labourer

Job Description

Dan-Ex Contracting Ltd. is looking for a candidate for the position of construction labourer. You will be assisting in demolition, excavation, and site drainage work on residential and commercial sites.

Job Duties

• Transport construction materials by loading and unloading them
  • Install and remove concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread various materials
  • Support heavy equipment operators
  • Assist in aligning pipes when constructing pipelines
  • Aid in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Level the earth to meet precise specifications
  • Contribute to demolishing buildings
  • Collect and stack salvageable materials
  • Clear away debris and rubble from construction sites
  Necessary Skills/Qualifications

• Strong work ethic
• Physical fitness
• Willingness to learn.
• Class 5 Driver’s license or ability to transit to jobsites.
• On the job training will be provided
• 7+ months of experience
