Job Description

Visscher Lumber Inc.  is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in visually representing our brand and products. Your designs will be instrumental in captivating our audience and driving engagement across various marketing channels.

Job Duties

• Estimate costs of materials and time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
• Co-ordinate sub-contracting
• Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
• Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
• Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives
• Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
• Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
• Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides

Necessary Skills/Qualifications

• At least 3 years work experience.
• College/CEGEP
• Experience in Adobe suite of software (InDesign, Photoshop).
