MAIN JOB DUTIES:
Pick up passengers and drive them to destinations in taxicabs or shuttles; Help passengers with luggage and with boarding and exiting vehicles and assist passengers with special needs; Collect flat-rat or taximeter fares; Maintain travel logs and record cash and credit transactions; Maintain contact with taxi dispatch unit; Clean and make minor repairs to vehicle or arrange for vehicle servicing when required; May provide pick up and delivery services on request; Provide basic tourist information,; Attend to complaints or difficult passengers
PERSONAL SUITABILITY:
Reliability, Judgement, Organized, Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Secondary or equivalent
CREDENTIALS: Driver’s Licence; Driver’s Abstract; Criminal Record Check
ADDITIONAL: Customer service experience preferred; Preference given to individuals who are familiar with working knowledge of the employment area.
