We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to provide full-time care for children in a private household. The ideal candidate is responsible, nurturing, and committed to maintaining a safe and supportive home environment.

• Location: Langley, British Columbia V1M 2R4
• Workplace Information: On-site
• Salary: 20.00 hourly / 35 hours per Week
• Schedule: Day, On Call, Shift, Weekend
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment/Full time
• Starts as soon as possible
• Vacancies: 2 vacancies
• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• On-site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
• Work setting: Employer’s home

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for infants and children
• Change diapers and assist with toilet training
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
• Keep records of daily activities and children’s health information
• Prepare children for rest periods
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Travel with the family, when required, to assist with child supervision and related duties
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents

Credentials

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is an asset but not mandatory.
