Job Requirements and Skills:

– Having some experience in a similar position is an asset but not a requirement.
– Ability to work under minimal supervision, independently or as part of a team.
– Good physical strength for lifting and carrying materials.
– Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
– Strong attention to detail, effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Job Duties:

– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Follow safety guidelines at all times
– Survey damage and document notes on assigned jobs
– Extract water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment
– Perform demolition including removing damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall, etc.
– Set up and monitor drying equipment
– Conduct moisture inspections
– Mould remediation
– Carpet cleaning
– Perform cleaning process for contents and structural damage
– Maintain inventory including loading, unloading and cleaning of all proprietary equipment
– Perform other activities at sites, as directed
