Position Summary

Roshel Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technologist to support the installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within specialized vehicle platforms. This role is critical to ensuring that all electrical components meet engineering specifications, production requirements, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with complex, integrated electrical systems in a manufacturing or vehicle-based environment, allowing for minimal training and immediate contribution to ongoing production operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install and integrate vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical components, including lighting systems, control systems, alarm systems, and audio-visual equipment
  • Analyze electrical faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure system functionality and reliability
  • Perform electrical modifications, upgrades, and maintenance to support production and engineering requirements
  • Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and compliance with design specifications
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks to verify performance and adherence to safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
  • Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and system adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations
  • Operate diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and specialized instruments safely and effectively
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical system performance and production efficiency

Employment Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a closely related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in electrical systems, wiring, and diagnostics within a manufacturing, automotive, or similar environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Demonstrated experience working with integrated electrical systems in vehicle or equipment-based environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Compensation and Employment Details

Location: 255 Biscayne Crescent, Brampton, ON, L6W 4R2

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (minimum)
  • Wage: $36.00 per hour
  • Overtime: Overtime may be required based on operational needs and will be compensated in accordance with applicable provincial legislation
