Overview

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and reliable Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive childcare and household support in a safe and nurturing home environment. The caregiver will be responsible for two children, aged 8 years old and 6 years old.

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• Experience is an asset, but not required

Work Setting

• Employer’s/client’s home

• Room and board provided

• Willingness to relocate is an asset

• Work must be completed on site; remote work is not available

Key Responsibilities

• Take care of two children (8 and 6 years old)

• Watch and supervise children at all times

• Take full responsibility for the home when parents are not around

• Cook and prepare healthy meals for the family

• Help children with homework and school activities

• Teach children good hygiene and social skills

• Support children’s emotional needs

• Discipline children by following parents’ instructions

• Plan and do fun activities, games, and outings with children

• Take children to and from school and appointments

• Keep daily notes about children’s activities and well-being

• Keep the home clean, safe, and healthy

• Do light housekeeping and cleaning

• Wash, iron, and fold clothes and household linens

• Buy groceries and household supplies

• Travel with the family when needed and help with childcare and housework

Credentials

• Emergency Child Care, First Aid,d and CPR certification required
