MICRO-STAR CANADA LTD. (MSI) is looking for a strategic Product Manager to oversee the lifecycle and market success of our high-performance hardware and gaming product lines. Operating, this role focuses on the intersection of product development and corporate sales strategy to drive regional revenue and market share.

Job Duties

  • Lead a cross-functional team to bring new products to market, overseeing everything from initial concept to regional launch.
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of sales and product departments; establish organizational policies and procedures to meet regional sales targets.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors’ operations on sales.

Develop product requirements and product roadmaps to align with key market drivers and corporate business objectives.

  • Ensure the assortment of products is kept up-to-date; identify slow-moving stock and formulate strategic plans to manage it effectively.
  • Manage the communications flow between Internal Sales and Service. Act as a primary liaison externally with vendors, customers, and corporate partners.
  • Lead the sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage the negotiation of complex sales contracts.
  • Monitor the success of existing and new product launches; establish and track growth & engagement KPIs and goals.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures; conduct performance reviews and arrange specialized training for staff.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Markham office and global headquarters.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience in a growth, business development, or product-focused role within a technology company.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and stakeholder management, with the ability to support commercial discussions and agreements.
  • Experience working with consumer-facing digital or gaming products is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience using data to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to execute assigned objectives at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and a results-oriented work ethic.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality and continuous professional development.
