Salary: $60,000 per annum–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Vacation: 4 % of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 32.5 Hours a week

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of truck parts to ensure optimal stock levels and meet customer demand.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Managing the order cycle from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing customer orders.
  • Coordinating transportation and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts to customers.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and maintaining accurate records of all supply chain activities.
  • Ensure that all returned merchandise is properly accounted and re-shelved, so that the accounts remain consistent.
  • Coordinate a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Actively resolve any job-related issues as they arise

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience of 3-6 months in supply chain coordination, logistics, or inventory control, preferably within the automotive or parts distribution industry.
  • Completion of secondary school is required. College level diploma in business, supply chain or related will be considered as an asset.
  • Proficiency in managing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Knowledge of transportation and distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English language to interact effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools for inventory tracking and performance monitoring.
