Term/ Hours per week (workload): 37 hours/ week

Work on weekends (YES/NO): Yes, by Arrangement

Type: Permanent (non-seasonal)

Salary: $36.60 CAD/hour

Education Requirement: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Will train

Benefits: (Employment standard)

• Vacation from employment standard: 2 weeks of paid vacation after working for 1 full year.
• Sick days: After 90 days of employment, employees can take up to 5 paid days and 3 unpaid days of job-protected leave per calendar year

Job Duties

1. Conduct geophysical programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping
2. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
3. Keep a record of work performed and location, and condition of equipment
4. Document work completed
5. Produce reports
6. Complete reports
7. Ensure safety procedures are followed
8. Ensure adherence to safety regulations
9. Maintain clean and safe work environment

What are we looking for?

Computer and technology knowledge

• MS Office

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Security and Safety

• Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/Travel information

• Valid driver’s licence
• Vehicle supplied by employer
