Job Description

• Bathe, dress and feed children
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Prepare infants & children for rest periods
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Additional Skills:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
  • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens

Job Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school required or equivalent experience is required
• Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience in childcare.
• Language: English (Oral and Written)
• Personal Suitability: Organized, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding
• Work Setting: private home
