Job Description
Assist patient with advanced Alzheimer’s disease. Ensure safety of client inside home.Provide appropriate level of support to ensure patient maintain her optimum level of involvement and independence in social activities, activities of daily living and personal care;
Supports with personal care needs by responding to their changing needs; Low level personal care assistance may be required.,Provide companionship, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties,Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Possess a strong client-centred approach with patient and family in a professional and courteous manner.Ability to effectively manage challenging situations and assess, anticipate and respond to patients’ requirements. Aid with activities of daily living that involve the patient’s cognitive and physical well being.Maintains a safe environment for patient. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Required languages: TagalogEducation level: Minimum completion of Secondary Education
Required skills: Assist with administration of medications, Administer bedside and personal care when needed, Launder clothing and household linens, Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
