Automotive Service Technician

Position Summary:

As an Automotive Service Technician at Mr. Lube, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical vehicle components. You’ll perform scheduled maintenance services, interact with customers, and work collaboratively with supervisors to ensure top-quality automotive service delivery. This role requires mechanical expertise, diagnostic skills, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test mechanical units and automotive systems to locate faults and malfunctions.

• Test and adjust systems and components to manufacturer specifications.

• Confirm diagnostic findings with the supervisor to determine repair or replacement needs.

• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts or components in mechanical systems.

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

• Estimate labor and parts costs and explain the necessary work to customers.

• Advise customers on current service needs and future repair recommendations.

• Provide excellent customer service while communicating technical information.

• Complete work reports, inspection checklists, and service documentation.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
