Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Hand-stretch pizza dough, spread sauces, and accurately portion toppings.
  • Cook appetizers, entrees, and pizzas adhering to Boston Pizza recipes and assembly manuals.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Complete daily prep sheets and organize product deliveries.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  •  Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, operate standard kitchen equipment, and sanitize workstations.
  • Manage kitchen operations
