Responsibilities
Tasks
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Hand-stretch pizza dough, spread sauces, and accurately portion toppings.
- Cook appetizers, entrees, and pizzas adhering to Boston Pizza recipes and assembly manuals.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Complete daily prep sheets and organize product deliveries.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, operate standard kitchen equipment, and sanitize workstations.
- Manage kitchen operations
