Home Support Worker Needed

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Home Support Worker to assist an adult female with a physical disability in her private residence in Mississauga. This is a full-time, on-site role suited for someone who is caring, attentive, and committed to supporting daily living needs while providing meaningful companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside and personal care
• Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
• Support the client during water-based activities (e.g., pool use)
• Encourage and assist with regular physical activity such as daily walks
• Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry
• Offer emotional support and companionship
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role is preferred
• Education: No formal education required
• Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and understood)

Additional Information

Compensation & Benefits

• $22.00 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Additional employment-related benefits provided
