Overview

The company is seeking an experienced and motivated Liquor Store Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team in Burns Lake, BC.

Qualifications

Languages:

• English

Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience

Work Setting

• Liquor and wine store

• Work must be completed on site; remote work is not available

Key Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and control daily store operations

• Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements

• Manage staff, assign duties, and determine staffing requirements

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff

• Conduct performance reviews

• Oversee payroll administration

• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

• Study market research and trends to assess consumer demand and competitor impact

• Determine merchandise and services to be sold

• Select, procure, and manage inventory for resale

• Implement pricing and credit policies

• Develop and implement marketing strategies

• Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply issues

• Supervise office and volunteer staff, as applicable
