Offered Wage: $57,000-$60,000 per annum; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Other Benefits: Variable Performance based bonus
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 30-32 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Accountable to ensure the successful operations of the location. This includes supervision of staff, administration duties, health and safety compliance and financial success of the location.
  • Managing the restaurant by maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards.
  • Ensures Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met.
  • Assist Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivate and train.
  • Ensure company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program.
  • Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing plans.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the customer service sector is required.
  • Completion of a college-level program in business administration or hospitality management is required.
  • Must possess intermediate English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and customers at all levels.
  • Ability to prepare and write routine reports and business correspondence as required.
  • Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant as needed and operate a computerized Point of Sale (POS) system or cash register efficiently.
