Position: Technical Program Manager- IT

Salary: $110,000 per annum. The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 30 Hours a week
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver enterprise network IT projects, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, WAN, SD-WAN, and data center infrastructure.
- Direct and control the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Evaluate departmental and company-wide IT/EDP performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Organize cross-functional teams and resources to execute network infrastructure initiatives while maintaining oversight of broader IT operations.
- Support AI-driven network and data center transformation initiatives by analyzing capacity, performance, connectivity, and resiliency requirements across routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, and critical infrastructure.
- Lead data center migration, consolidation, and disaster recovery projects.
- Use Ansible automation to streamline network operations, including configuration deployment, device validation, compliance checks, backup processes, and other repeatable operational tasks across routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Own end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, budgeting, resource planning, implementation tracking, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, review cost estimates, and coordinate financial planning for major network infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, vendors, service providers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful, on-time project execution.
- Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, track milestones, manage action items, resolve blockers, and provide status updates to leadership.
- Plan and manage data center modification, upgrade, and refresh projects, including network connectivity, infrastructure readiness, migration planning, and post-implementation validation.
- Communicate upcoming major network initiatives to business teams, assess business impact, and secure approvals for planned downtime and maintenance windows.
- Manage data center-to-remote-site connectivity deployments using DIA, MPLS, broadband, SD-WAN, Starlink, and Amazon LEO satellite-based connectivity solutions.
- Lead voice, IVR, and enterprise cloud voice migration projects, coordinating planning, rollout, testing, issue resolution, and operational handoff.
Employment Requirements
- 5+ years of technical experience in enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, WAN, SD-WAN, data center operations, and connectivity solutions (DIA, MPLS, broadband, satellite-based/LEO)
- 5+ years of budget management experience, including cost estimation, expenditure tracking, and financial planning for large-scale IT/network infrastructure initiatives
- 3+ years of program/project management experience, leading enterprise network or data center projects end-to-end scope, risk, resourcing, stakeholder reporting, and cross-functional/vendor coordination
- 3+ years’ experience leading or managing enterprise network infrastructure projects or working in a senior network administration, network engineering, or IT infrastructure role with responsibility for project delivery is required.
- Must have experience planning, coordinating, and delivering Network IT infrastructure projects involving routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and data center infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of enterprise network architecture, network security, cloud networking, data center technologies, project management principles, and vendor coordination
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
- A college-level diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
