**Job Opportunity: Home Support Worker for Elderly Alzheimer’s Patient**
Are you compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease? We are currently seeking a reliable and empathetic Home Support Worker to assist an elderly female patient with Alzheimer’s in the comfort of her own home.
**Responsibilities:**
– Provide personalized care and support to the elderly patient in accordance with their individualized care plan.
– Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders.
– Engage the patient in stimulating activities to promote cognitive function and emotional well-being.
– Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient, including light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
– Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Tasks:
Administer bedside and personal care
Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder) Feed or assist in feeding
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
