Home Support Worker

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Support Worker to provide full-time care and support to an elderly female client living with Alzheimer’s disease. The successful candidate will work in the client’s private residence in Mississauga, Ontario, assisting with daily personal care, companionship, and light household duties to ensure comfort, safety, and well-being.

Languages Required

• English

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• No prior experience required; training will be provided

Work Environment

• Work is on-site at the employer’s residence

• Optional live-in accommodation available at no charge
  (Note: This is NOT a condition of employment)

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside and personal care

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and hygiene

• Accompany client on regular walks and light exercises

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs

• Plan therapeutic diets and menus as required

• Assist in water activities (e.g., pool therapy)

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

• Offer companionship and emotional support

Who Can Apply
